“My doctor Breck is the only doctor I would see she is gentle and understanding patient and listens to each concern!”
“She was definitely knowledgeable, very accommodating and super reasonably priced.”
“Just started going but have already started to see good results, I am getting acupuncture and this is my first time trying it but so happy I did it.”
From the reviews
Breck has been able to help me with complex medical issues and provide much needed relief. Coming from a healthcare background myself (albeit Western medicine), I am not sure how acupuncture works, I just know it really works and has made a huge difference for me!
On a suggestion from my dentist, and having tried many other treatment protocols to relieve my knee pain, I reached out to Bartlett Acupuncture, as I am trying every way possible to avoid knee replacement. I will also say, I am very fearful needles!
I had come to Breck out of desperation. Nothing was helping me after searching for about 5 years of relief from chronic back pain. It took a couple sessions to see an improvement, but I definitely started to feel better. She's VERY supportive of what you think should be addressed during the session, how, how long etc.
Update: I had my 3rd appointment with Breck and I’m feeling really good! I had one appointment so far with Breck and she really listened and took the time to figure out my pain issues. 3 days later I’m feeling better and can move without as much stiffness and/or pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
