From the reviews

I have been working with Jia Chen (Jonas) for just a couple of months now and am already seeing amazing results. He does acupuncture and cupping on me regularly along with herbs. He is helping me regulate my cycle and deal with migraines and I am blown away by my progress in such a short amount of time.

Dr.Chen is very professional with women health care. She helps our whole family health issue. Specially for my menopausal syndrome and insomnia. I feel so relieved and be cured after treatments from Dr. Chen. Now I have more energy to do a lot of things.

My mom was ill with severe virtigo and nausea for two days. We took her to see Dr.Chen from my friend Susanne’s recommendation . It was easy to make appointment. My mom felt so much better after the treatment (immediate relief), and she took the herbal medicine for a few days and is completely fine.

Excellent experience! Very professional atmosphere and intake process. Skilled Accupuncturists, helped with my pain and issues so much. They took my insurance as well. Would highly recommend

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
