From the reviews

I went to Rocky yesterday with chronic shoulder problems and other issues do to over use as a bodybuilder. What she did for me through massage & cupping was no short of miraculous!! The following day my shoulder was 95% better. Range of motion was back, strength and most importantly minimal pain.

What an incredible experience, from the professionalism of booking the appointment to the staff accommodating my hectic schedule. My massage was exactly what I had requested and I am very excited to experience some of the other techniques that I was told about ( cupping).

★★★★★ — Mike, Oct 2020

Rocky as an amazing massage therapist. She is very helpful in addressing any areas of concern that you may have in order to help you get the most from your massage with her. She is very kind & very knowledgeable. You come out very relaxed & looking forward to your next visit with her!

I’ve been dealing with the fight of my life for the last 18 months. My journey brought me to the Phoenix area last January and I was lucky enough to meet Rocky. My fight is stage IV pancreatic cancer and neuropathy that happens with Chemo.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
