From the reviews

A great massage to me provides deep relaxation as well as effective relief of pain and tension. Stephanie provides both without question. Four days after my first massage with her, I found mobility and release in my upper thoracic spine that I haven’t had in years since my injury.

Stephanie is sooo amazing and attentive to your needs! I tend to prefer really deep pressure and its been rare to receive from other massage therapists the amount I feel works for me...but let me tell you...Ashiatsu is the WAY TO GO if you're like I am and desperately need the added pressure.

★★★★★ — Abby, Aug 2022

Really enjoy my massages with Stephanie. I get a 2 hour every month with the heated muscle scraper and I felt like I melt through the table each time. I normally don't fall asleep during massages but she seems to put me sleep every time. She is soft at first then eases in with deep pressure. Gentle, then therapeutic!

★★★★★ — Sere, Oct 2025

As a trans person, I neglected my body for years, and was so worried about finding a therapist who would make me feel comfortable and accepted. Turns out that I didn't need to worry so much, Stephanie makes me feel welcomed and safe, in addition to being an amazing massage therapist and person. Highly recommended.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
