From the reviews
Maria is amazing. I have had 3 injuries , bruised ribs , torn meniscus & Rotator Cuff tear. She has helped me heal faster from my injuries. Maria is very knowledgeable of human anatomy , she can alliviate pain & stiffness.
I met with Maria and immediately felt a connection that she was genuinely interested in helping me with the pain I was having in my neck and back and she did! Felt 100% better and would highly recommend her.
I try to schedule a session with Maria every month. As soon as I leave one visit I start looking forward to the next! She has made such a difference in my shoulder and back pain. She loves to try new things and I have learned so much since I started going to her.
I was referred to Flower of Life by a friend due to my many health issues. After my first session, I knew I had found my person, my place of healing. Maria is wonderful, so personable and she has such a calming presence.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
