From the reviews

I can totally see the appeal of floating. The staff were friendly and the place was inviting. It was my first time so it took a bit to get used to. Unfortunately, my pod's water temperature had a malfunction and started to slowly cool down as my session went on.

★★★★☆ — Aaron, Dec 2025

Great experience. Pricey, and hard to find appointment times within a few days, but a great experience. Loved the meditation room as well although there seemed to be a lot of traffic in and out of it by employees gathering cups multiple times, etc.

★★★★★ — Lisa, Feb 2025

Seacoast Flote truly has everything when talking about your self-care needs. I have visited previously to take part in their yoga and meditation classes. The teachers and staff are all laid-back and care about their clients.

★★★★★ — Erica, Jan 2023

I absolutely love these facilities. The floating is something I never thought I’d enjoy, but I ended up loving it and have been going as often as possible and even became a member. The staff are the nicest group of people, especially Tricia, Yaz, and Jackie.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
