From the reviews
Wow Felice is such a gem of a person. I have been searching for someone of her caliber for years and am so grateful to have found her. I recently had my first visit and the knowledge I gained from her experience was incredible. Post acupuncture and cupping I feel amazing. Her office is so warm and cozy.
I can't say enough good things about my experience with Felice! I went in for about six sessions with a variety of nagging injuries, aches, and pains from jiu jitsu and other sports/working out over the years: persistent lower back pain, some sort of acute pain around the fibular head and LCL, and general tension, etc…
Felice is a lifesaver. She provided so much support to my husband and I over many months. She has the most soothing energy and caring spirit. The first time we saw Felice, we went home and slept for 12 hrs straight. I got weekly cupping and Accupuncture as well as herbs & supplements.
Treat yourselves to an incredibly lovely, soothing, and fantastic healing experience at Felice Acupuncture. Dr. Felice Chan is wonderful, attentive, extraordinary, and wise. She offers helpful TCM advice, gives her patients amazing acupuncture and cupping treatments, and in a beautiful and tranquil sanctuary.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
