What clients say about the cupping here
“She is well educated, and stays well educated.”
From the reviews
I've been seeing Maureen for about a year now and she has treated me for many ailments. She works magic with her hands. I usually fall asleep while she does her manipulation. Cupping has helped my back. And I don't even feel her inserting the needles. .
I have been seeing Dr. McNulty for roughly three years now, and I trust her implicitly. My spine is fractured in two places. With her help, and the help of my chiropractor, I do not have to take pain medications nor have I had to have surgery.
Maureen worked with hubby&I to help make our pain go away. Looks like we'll be going back to her because no one else compares.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
