I went in today expecting a normal deep tissue massage and I was so wrong because that was anything but normal, that was the best experience I’ve ever had with a deep tissue massage ever. Emily was my masseuse, and she was the best masseuse I’ve ever come across.
Emily has given me 4 or 5 therapeutic massages over the last month or two. I have never had a better massage anywhere in the world. She literally took me from a point of almost debilitating pain in my left arm and shoulder to a relaxed, pain free life.
Wonderful massage! I've been here twice, Lilly gave me an excellent foot massage. I had a one-hour massage with Lina along with a half-hour foot massage. Both were perfect! I appreciate that Lina asked me if I liked the pressure. Both visits were great and I am planning on going once a week or so from now on.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
