Why Eventus Medical Massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “es When you come to Eventus for an appointment you can expect to benefit from a wide variety of tools and modalities, which are all available for your treatment with no additional costs. These include: IASTM (scraping), cupping, percussion…” source →

From the reviews

Austin is not only a miracle worker, he also has strong integrity and ethics. He is deeply honest about what he can and can’t treat, and truly puts his client’s healing above profit. My husband had severe foot pain that left him unable to walk some days which had been going on for years.

Austin is simply amazing. I’ve been dealing with foot pain for years. Doctors say I’m fine, but clearly I’m not. After seeing Austin, the pain is gone and he taught me how to avoid flare ups. I’ve sent family members to him as well and they’ve all felt better after, even having more mobility than before.

This man is a Wizard! I have had neck, shoulder and back problems for years and have basically tried everything including nerve ablation and several epidural. After 2 sessions I have gotten relief in my neck and shoulders that I have not felt in years! He is amazing!

★★★★★ — Barbara, May 2026

I went to Austin to help me with a shoulder injury from rock climbing, assuming I would need additional medical intervention down the road like a sling or surgery. When I arrived, I immediately felt welcome as his affable and energetic nature was very reassuring for my unease about my injury.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
