From the reviews

Melanie is a wonderful message therapist. She honestly has magic hands. She listens carefully and uses her extensive knowledge and experience to give you the service you need. Over the last 25 years I have seen several message therapists. The only therapist I went to more than once was during both if my pregnancies.

I have been a client of both Margo's and Melanie's for years when each were working at other massage therapy studios. Their skill and professionalism is outstanding. Both constantly improve their skills by continuing to attend additional training courses.

★★★★★ — Ed, Apr 2020

Margo is sincerely interested in the health and wellbeing of her clients! She is extremely skilled and committed to her profession continually taking courses in her field.

★★★★★ — Jan, May 2020

Margo is a fantastic massage therapist. I have been seeing her for over five years and I have never had a bad session with her. She always listens to what issues I am having and tailors the treatment to deal with them. Her new location is easily accessible off of the highway with convenient parking.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
