From the reviews
Donna has helped my with my martial arts injuries and I am pain free. Have done accupuncture and cupping from her with great results. Her services are extremely inexpensive but top knotch.
i can go 4,6,12 months between appointment and Donna remembers me and my past injuries. I have been a patient for about 4 yeas I was recommended by two other family members. when my back starts to bother me the acupuncture is such a relief just after one visit i feel a significant improvement.
Donna gives me excellent care. She takes care knowing I can be very jumpy. I get time to relax and heal. She has gentle hands. I highly recommend Escondido Acupuncture Center.
Donna has helped me with my back problems, foot problems, and hand problems. She really knows what she is doing
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
