From the reviews
I’ve been coming to see Erika at EMT Wellness For the last couple months. She truly has helped me tremendously as I have a bulging disc And get a lot of nerve pain on the right side of my body. Nothing has helped until I started getting treatment with Erica. She truly is a miracle worker.
Erika is amazing! I always feel rejuvenated after a session with her. She addresses any aches and pains I’ve told her about at the beginning of the session and customizes my massage. Oh, and have you ever had the feeling during a massage like “Darn, I wish they would’ve worked more on that one spot…”?
I've been a monthly customer for years. The massages and the prices cannot be beaten. The office and massage rooms are nicely decorated and very tranquil. Erika is very knowledgeable and has helped me through injuries and to maintain my personal zen.
Erika is a phenomenal massage therapist and healer. In the past two decades I have seen around 15 massage therapists and she is by far one of the best! Her background in physical therapy combined with her knowledge of various bodywork styles makes every session a delight.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
