“I’ve personally watched them help people with back pain, shoulder injuries, frozen shoulder, foot pain, wrist pain, loss of smell from Covid, flipping babies, tailbone pain, TMJ, and so much more.”
“I've had a recurring pain issue for years that kept returning and none of the health experts I visited in the past could really solve the problem - they were treating the symptoms and not the cause.”
“Jamie is calm, understanding, kind and listens well, and with that she uses a combination of gentle but highly effective methods to release the knots in your muscles and relieve you of pain.”

From the reviews
Wow, incredible first time experience here at Empower Movement. I had my first appointment with Jena and she did some amazing work in our 60 minute session. Some cupping and dry needling of the back (lats, traps, shoulders) and then hit the abs, chest and forearms.
I highly recommend Empower Movement Physical therapy. The staff are dedicated to their job, talented, intuitive to your needs and right on the mark to addressing the discomfort and misalignment of the whole body from your feet all the way to your head! Can’t beat the friendliness and professionalism.
The Empower Movement Team has completely changed my life! I saw the team (Jena, Krystle, Sarah) during my third pregnancy after difficult pregnancy and postpartum with my first and second. I had a pain free third pregnancy which I didn’t think was possible!
I'm so grateful for Jamie and Sarah and their comprehensive care approach to health and wellness. They are so knowledgeable and their passion for their work is evident in how they communicate and provide resources for learning. They communicate well with my other care providers.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
