…She used cupping to release the tension, then did some precise arm rotations and stretches that got to the root of the issue. I walked out feeling like a new person. Definitely one of the best massages I’ve ever had.
Such a great atmosphere inside the studio. Great work by the owners to make it inviting for the guests. Paula is my go to masseuse she has a ton of knowledge on the human body and how to help relieve those stubborn aches and pain. Give the studio a try, I’m sure all the therapists that work here are top notch!
Love this place! Came here on a whim and the masseuse was so professional with her advice. She advised me what to do and what not to do according to my pain. She also Let me know what stretches to do at home for chronic neck pain since she had a background in physical therapy. It was amazing! I Recommend.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
