From the reviews

I have been working with Elshia for several months now and greatly appreciate both her skill and her compassion. After several decades of relentless stress and emotional trauma, my muscles have become hardened, and my body has assumed a braced posture as its normal state. My healing begins as I walk through the door.

★★★★★ — Lisa, Jan 2026

I had a wonderful group breathwork session with Elshia at Soul Compass Therapeutics. The space felt safe, grounded, and deeply supportive from the moment we began. Elshia guided the session with such presence and care, allowing the experience to unfold naturally while still feeling held and intentional.

★★★★★ — Sukaina, Jan 2026

I’ve been coming to Soul Compass Therapeutics for a little over a year now, and I truly can’t say enough good things. Elshia has an incredibly warm presence that immediately makes you feel safe and comfortable — almost effortlessly. She’s always kind, attentive, and consistently checks in on how your body is feeling.

★★★★★ — Jolee, Feb 2026

I've seen Elshia 11 times now and plan to continue booking sessions with her. She's been an incredible support as I navigate one of the most difficult seasons of my life, filled with loss and grief. From the very beginning, I felt safe and comfortable with her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
