From the reviews
I’ve had many massage therapist over the years, but Kathy hands down is the most skilled therapist I’ve ever had to relieve the pain in my back, neck, and shoulders. My shoulder and arm would be so tight and I couldn’t lift above my head. After a session with her, I would leave with will range of motion again!
Cat is THE BEST massage therapist! Since 2020, she has been able to work with me and my multiple issues and injuries. She is extremely knowledgeable about how the body works and each massage is custom to what your body needs. Her cupping and scraping are added benefits to my tense muscles. I 100% recommend her!!
Cat is the absolute best there is! She is extremely knowledgeable and truly knows how to troubleshoot your problem areas. If you have a kink, a knot, a tight muscle she will find it! Her techniques with Massage, Stretching, and Cupping have you leaving feeling like a new person every time!!
Cat is the absolute best. She understands the body and muscles in an intricate way. She listens and plans her therapy based on each client. 2 years after a major surgery I was really hurting. One session with her working on scar tissue, muscle manipulation, and cupping, and I finally have some relief.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
