From the reviews

It’s professional and folks are smiling, welcoming. There is an atmosphere of teamwork according to my observations. The pts are legit and I have street cred. I have been in pt care many times and I know my expectations; I feel John is highly qualified and I like his approach to my situation.

Very happy with my experience at YPT. John R. Is skilled and patient, addressing my post surgical foot rehab, while carefully modifying treatment due to my complicated and chronic knee pain. Great staff and warm environment. Love their online portal providing helpful information and personal updates.

I mostly worked with John B, But I found all of the physical therapists And their aides and receptionists to all be very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I especially liked the fact that it was easy to make appointments with them and they have evening hours for people who have to work during the day.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
