From the reviews

I went to Stephanie after an extensive shoulder surgery. My surgeon wasn’t sure if I’d make a full recovery and make it back to work. Not only did I make it back to work, but my shoulder is stronger now than it was before. Stephanie and her team worked with me and designed a program tailored just for me.

The absolute best PT office in town! Stephanie and her entire team is amazing. They take the time to listen and take care of your needs, with apparent care, love, and the upmost attention. They are not afraid to try different treatment options and always strive to make you better.

I must admit, I have never had PT prescribed before this point in my life, so I have no experience to compare this too. However, Stephanie Smith and her amazing team at Elevate really live up to their name. They elevate your mood when you come in as well as your range of motion and physical strength.

For me this place was wonderful, I had a full knee replacement and spent six weeks at Anderson physical. But unfortunately I didn’t feel any better, so I asked my doctor could I try elsewhere and he had heard that Kevin Snider was very good, after only two days they found the painful areas and after six weeks I was…

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
