I went to this practice and although the Staff interactions were all Great I would not recommend massage therapist Chris. At the time, during my 1st session with him I did have tension in-between my neck and shoulder and I thought his manipulation was to be expected but am having lasting pain and bruising the day…
It was my 1st time at Elements Massage. I booked an hour with David. Before he began I asked if he would apply more pressure around my shoulder/neck & lower back area, he did. I learn his pattern & would inhale and exhale almost in unison.
Amazing experience!! My first time at this location and booked with Beata! Beata started our session off with locating where my tension and aches were at and did just that!! Not only is my full body relaxed and at ease but my tension and aches I was battling through are just about gone!!
Beata is truly the best massage therapist I have ever been to! Her technique is amazing, and she has a unique ability to find and heal every area of tension in the body. After just one session, I felt a huge difference, and with continued treatments, she has completely transformed how I feel.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
