I liked that I could check for an opening online. Within a few minutes, I booked a 90 minute massage that started in one hour. When I arrived the staff greeted me and promptly brought over the medical documents I needed to begin. I added a CBD treatment to my order.
The scheduling and pre-appointment consultation were easy. I booked with Michelle and she was fabulous. I had a 90-minute massage with medium to firm pressure. She was very receptive when I requested a decrease in pressure (I was VERY tight and had many tender areas).
The front desk staff are so very friendly, understanding, and kind. They know the therapists' modalities and recommend someone to try based on my needs - they've never been wrong! The therapists are knowledgeable and have been some of the few people to reduce my pain and tightness.
I love my time at Elements! I came in for help with shoulder pain and low back pain. I have seen both Maggie and Connie, and they both were great. They ask about concerns, and address issues you describe. I felt welcomed by the staff, and they made sure that I was comfortable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
