Only 3 session in and I already feel a good difference! I learned they offer several different type of holistic treatments that I’m excited to try! They have a friendly staff and easily accommodated my schedule.
Dr. Young is an absolute icon at what he does. He will have you fixed up in no time no matter what it is that hurts! Back, knee, foot...He is the consummate professional; I a have been going to him for years and he has never failed to provide pain relief immediately.
Life-Changing Care from Dr. Julie Hilbert As a veteran, I’ve dealt with chronic back and neck pain for years—something I thought I’d just have to live with. That changed when I found West Chester Acupuncture and Chiropractic, and especially Dr. Julie Hilbert. Dr.
As someone who is not a fan of needles, I was leery and hesitant to try acupuncture. My doctor had even suggested it years before. As a disabled vet, I became tired and exhausted of the constant pain I live in. I guess I should say have lived in. I wish that I had tried this before!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
