From the reviews

Andre was amazing! It was my first cupping experience and it will not be my last! He was very attentive to where I told him were my problem areas. Andre made sure through the whole massage that I was comfortable and that the pressure was not too strong.

It was my first time at massage elements and I loved it. The first thing I noticed was that I felt very comfortable walking in. I've gone to day spas before for a massage and just felt like I wasn't "dressed up" enough (for a massage) and just a little uncomfortable.

★★★★★ — Suzanne, Mar 2021

I've been wanting to check out Elements Massage for a while and booked my first session recently. My experience was fantastic! The front desk staff was warm and accommodating. They offered me water and asked if I had any questions, I felt welcomed.

★★★★★ — Amanda, Aug 2018

Every experience I’ve had has been great. I forget the girl who my first massage was with but her pressure was great, and her stretching techniques were even better. Second visit I saw Ibrahim. Omg was the pressure on point!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
