I recently had a cupping massage at Elements, and it was nothing short of amazing. My back and neck pain were instantly relieved thanks to the masseuse, who had a calming accent and truly the hands of a god! He was incredibly skilled, well-trained, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the session.
I saw Armando for myofascial release massage due to severe TMJ pain after some dental work. He improved my symptoms so much, I’m truly impressed. Would recommend to anyone with similar issues.
Nicole was very friendly when I called to schedule and later she pleasantly greeted me as I entered. Armando did an amazing job at my massage and I left with heart relief! They lady I checked out with (I think her name was Anna) was very friendly and well explained the benefits of being a member.
Truly had the BEST massage of my life here. Anyone with neck/trap pain, Maurice is your guy! I have never found a great therapist that really gets into the neck and the smaller muscle groups but Maurice did!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
