From the reviews

Elements' site makes it easy to book an appointment by searching based availability or a specific masseuse. The folks at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Karin, my masseuse, asked what I was looking for and did a great job working through the tension in my shoulders and back.

This is the second time over the years I have used the Element's services for my needs involving back problems. Both times I have found, first, the office staff to be most professional and respectful, helping explain the process very well and patiently.

Today I had my second massage from *BeeBee*. She is truly gifted and intuitive to my body’s wants & needs. I will 100% be back to see her again. *BEWARE* that the staff will encourage you to sign up for another massage at checkout.

I really never write reviews, but I just had a great massage at Elements in Belmont. I have been trying different places in the area and this is my new favorite. Earnest (my therapist) carefully addressed my problem areas (shoulders and upper back) and checked in with me often to see if the pressure was okay (it was).

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
