I tried fire cupping therapy and was genuinely surprised by how soothing it felt—despite the name, it wasn’t painful at all. The warmth and gentle suction seemed to melt away tension, and I could feel improved circulation almost immediately. I left feeling relaxed, energized, and noticeably lighter.
My husband and I had the couples deep tissue massage and it was amazing. We definitely feel refreshed, we will be coming back.
My experience at Elegant Spa I've had several massages at Elegant Spa, and each time I've had an excellent experience. I always book with Tina, who is a fantastic masseuse. She's not only professional and knowledgeable but also has a great ability to target the specific areas that need attention.
It was a little Larry about the location. It was great that they locked the door behind us. Unfortunately, employees were talking loud and upstairs must be an apartment because the activity level and noise was very high . It’s still a five because of Massage was amazing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
