From the reviews
Laura's style is a beautiful balance of anatomical knowledge and graceful intuition. I left the massage feeling lighter and more attuned to my body. I highly recommend Laura of Ebb & Flow for massage and bodywork.
Wow! I was impressed with Laura's ability to read my body and address the areas that needed it most. The environment was very relaxing and Laura asked about my preferences for including aromatherapy, heat/cold, how bright I wanted the room, etc.
I’ve had massage with Laura only once so far, but without a doubt I can tell that it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. She is a very thoughtful therapist, the massage felt very intuitive and healing, left my body feeling incredibly light and restored.
I had a wonderful experience for my first time at Ebb & Flow. The space itself is cozy, calming, and inviting. I booked my massage with Emily and they were excellent- we talked a bit before we got started about my pain points and areas in my body where I experience a lot of tension/discomfort.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
