In my opinion, Dynamic Physical Therapy is the BEST PT place on the Westbank. I've been to other facilities and quit before finishing my treatment plan. I went to Dynamic PT, told the therapist up front, I hated PT so she knew I would be a challenge!!!! LOL!!!! I was pleasantly surprised!!!
I had a total knee replacement in early November 2025. Just before Thanksgiving, I started physical therapy at Dynamic Physical Therapy in Westwego. My initial assessment was with Paul Naccari. From that point on, my treatment was outstanding. I went every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8 a.m.
Dynamic Physical Therapy has been amazing! I’ve been going since August for both pre- and post-knee surgery physical therapy, and the experience has been wonderful from start to finish. Paul and Craig have been incredible, and everyone there is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable to be around.
This is the absolute best place ever. The staff is awesome and I would recommend everyone to do their PT here. The atmosphere is awesome and Surika is a miracle worker. I hope I didn't botch her name. 10 out of 10..... from Rosie
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
