What clients say about the cupping here
“He's very knowledgeable, and doesn't just focus on one or two things.”
From the reviews
He's really a fantastic acupuncturist! He's very knowledgeable, and doesn't just focus on one or two things. He considers your overall health. I've had a lot less pain, more energy and I've been sleeping better since I've started going to him. He's also just a really nice guy!
I had a fractured my scapula Michael helped my arm to have full motion. I had started with not having mush motion. After seeing Mike and PT worker, i have full motion. He also helped me with proper herbal mixes to help with the healing.
Michael is very thorough and caring in his work. He explains his techniques and assures that you are comfortable. You leave his office feeling the positive effect of his work.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
