From the reviews

The negative reviews about Dr Matt are all political and NOT about his ability as a doctor. I’ve known Matt a long time and he has a wealth of knowledge in his field. I see him bi-weekly for adjustments and ALWAYS leave feeling like a million bucks.

Dr. Matthew Cucolo is the best! His approach to your health and wellness is one of a kind and you wont find it anywhere else. He is wise beyond measure and knows his stuff in whole food, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, alternative medicine and more. He treats you like family and truly cares for his patients.

★★★★★ — Kayla, Oct 2015

Dr. Matt and his staff are friendly and helpful, professional and willing to listen. He’s helped me take control of my health and cure something that specialists and doctors in nyc misdiagnosed and threw drugs at for two years without being able to or even caring to find the underlying cause.

★★★★★ — Tinkerwiththis, Dec 2021

I’ve have been a patient of Dr. Matt for over 15 years. I trust him MORE than I trust any other healthcare provider. He provides knowledge and expertise and takes the time to get work with you to bring you to optimal health.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
