From the reviews

I came to see Marilyn for many reasons. Nerve compression in my arms caused from being a Massage Therapist for many years and Hot Flashes due to just being a woman. Marilyn is absolutely amazing. After several consistent treatments, she has given me a new life to my work.

★★★★★ — Lucy, Mar 2022

I’ve debated whether I go into detail since it’s TMI but I thought this review could help other women going through a similar experience. After having my third baby a few years ago, I’ve dealt with heavy menstrual periods that have always caused me anxiety.

★★★★★ — Katherine, Jul 2024

Highly recommend! Dr. Marilyn has been an excellent addition to my healing journey! I’m so happy to share I’ve seen measurable changes. I feel so much better during/after my sessions with her. I was amazed to see the improvement of my menstrual cycle. She also helped me so much with my sleeping patterns.

★★★★★ — Jessica, Nov 2024

I was a little nervous to try acupuncture but Marilyn immediately helped put me at ease and feel comfortable. She has a great overall energy and really listened to understand the areas I have been struggling in.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
