From the reviews

I first found Dr. Lim while I was pregnant. I had this excruciating back and leg pain from my growing belly and was limping at work. Just by hearing my complaints, Dr. Lim already knew which areas were affected and treated me accordingly.

I've had back problems going back decades. A few months back after just bending to pick up a piece of paper on the floor I found myself unable to walk. It was such excruciating pain just to walk. I was so frustrated that after using my TENS unit nothing changed.

★★★★★ — Lea, Jul 2023

The experience with Dr. Lim is unbelievable. I had severe chronic pain in large areas (neck, shoulder, back, lumbar and hip) for five years and have tried numerous PT, Chiropractic, acupuncturists, and masseurs. I even flew to Beijjng for one week every summer for treatment with a trusted doctor.

★★★★★ — Fz, Apr 2025

My father has been suffering from sciatica pain for the last few years. Things got really bad in the last one year and his movement became limited to 50 steps a day due to the excruciating pain. He tried every thing from countless physical therapy sessions, multiple cortisone shots and pain meds.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
