From the reviews
It’s been only a few visits for me so far but Dr. Chen has already helped a lot with my Restless Leg Syndrome which I’ve been suffering from for years. I can finally enjoy a good night sleep thanks to her treatments! I like Dr. Chen’s knowledge, friendly attitude, and her professional approach.
Dr Chen saved my life. I had a severe headache lasted for more than a month. Life suddenly became so miserable that I even woke up several times in the night due to the unbearable pain. No significant discovery by imaging and other doctors. I also hate to take pain relievers very often.
Dr. Chen was an absolute godsend for me throughout my pregnancy. She is an expert healer whose thorough treatments, peaceful demeanor, and thoughtful approach to the work allowed me to truly enjoy my pregnancy.
Dr. Chen's treatments have been nothing short of transformative. Western medicine failed to accomplish what acupuncture has been able to in several short months. I came to Dr. Chen as a last resort, but it should have been my first stop. Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
