From the reviews

So far I've had two labor acupuncture sessions with Dr. Brianna Darcey and I've been super happy with her treatment. I have not yet gone into labor but there has been some progression in my body since then.

Brianna is the best! From the very first session, I felt completely supported, seen, and genuinely cared for. Brianna has that rare combination of deep clinical knowledge, intuitive skill, and warm, grounding presence that instantly puts you at ease. I did both prenatal acupuncture and a postpartum session.

★★★★★ — Isa, Dec 2025

Briana is incredible! From the moment I walked in, I felt deeply seen, heard, and cared for in a way that’s rare to find. Her presence is so grounding, and the level of attunement she brings to her work made me feel completely safe to relax and receive.

★★★★★ — Aria, Mar 2026

Dr. Brianna Darcey offers something truly rare in care today: complete, unrushed presence. From the moment each session begins, you can feel that you are being tended to by someone whose attention is fully with you, your body, and what it’s communicating.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
