From the reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Bong for several years. I drive over 40 miles going and coming back from her office and it is more than worth it. I LOVE acupuncture and cupping and she's the only one I trust to do a great job. I feel amazing each time I leave. Looking forward to my next appointment!
Great doctor!! Nice clean place. She gets very booked so make sure you plan in advance. The acupuncture with cupping definitely help improved my overall health. Highly recommend Dr. Bong!
I visited Dr. Bong today to discuss treatment options for a decade long itching and atopic dermatitis issue. Dr. Bong was extremely compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and just a beautiful soul.
Dr. Bong is so personable, friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and generous. She has helped me in a number of ways and now that I am once again living in the area I plan to go see her again. Great office space too and friendly receptionists.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
