“She’s always made me feel comfortable and her bodywork is outstanding, I leave her feeling so relaxed and less stressed.”
“What drew me in was the extremely reasonable prices vs other companies wanting $130+ for a prenatal massage which is absurd.”
From the reviews
Absolutely wonderful!!! I happened to be scrolling through a moms group on FB and came across a post of another mom asking for prenatal massage recommendations. I was already telling my husband I wanted to do one. Happened to see Desert Wildflower recommendation.
I’ve been seeing Janelle for nearly a decade and she’s not only a fantastic massage therapist, but also a wonderful human. She’s always made me feel comfortable and her bodywork is outstanding, I leave her feeling so relaxed and less stressed.
I managed to hurt my neck doing housework. Woke up with stiff, angry muscles and looked around online, hoping to find a massage therapist with an opening. That led me to Desert Wildflower. Janelle fixed me right up! She has a very nice, self-owned practice. No pressure to join a club.
I’ve been seeing Janelle for about a year now on a monthly basis. She is an excellent masseuse and has helped me feel better on every visit. She addresses the area that needs attention and pinpoints knots that need releasing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
