From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. The space is clean, calming, and thoughtfully designed to promote peace and comfort. My massage therapist was incredibly skilled, attentive, and professional. They took the time to ask about my specific concerns and tailored the session to meet my needs.
After car travel for several days my back wasn’t feeling great. A quick search led me to Liz and seeing she would come to me was fantastic - I wasn’t yet familiar with the area and not having the added stress of finding an address was a welcome option.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
