From the reviews
Lauren is a MASSAGE GODDESS. I have a long history of injuries, from college rugby and being in the military, all the way to being in a head-on collision with a drunk driver.
Lauren is truly a master of her craft. I had been battling Achilles Tendinitis for months. I tried chiropractic adjustments, dry needling, shockwave therapy, a walking boot, and nothing seemed to help. At the recommendation of my Nutritionist, I decided to reach out to Lauren.
I've been seeing Lauren for massage & cupping for a few months now. She's really great at listening to what I need for my body, she's sympathetic to pain and gives amazing massages. Glad I found her & I highly recommend giving her a try!
Lauren is fantastic. She asks how you feel, what area(s) you want her to work on. You receive a massage tailored to your wants and needs. You don’t get a one size fits all massage. She is friendly and comfortable to be around. If you want to chat, she can do that or, if you want peace and quiet, she can do that also.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
