First time here! Best, most painful massage I've ever had...lol. Seriously though, Stephanie knows what she's doing! Massaging over 40yrs, she just looked at me and barely touched me and knew what issues my body had and why.
The best place in town for true therapeutic massage. Stephanie is trained and has plenty experience. She will answer any of your questions and give you great advice on what massage would benefit you best. I had cupping done the circles left about 2 days later but my back, arms and legs felt 100% better.
We love Mrs Stephanie. She does such an amazing massage. She offers the right one everytime. She does medical massages. Acupuncture, cupping .. always great. And she is so friendly.
This establishment and its staff (including owner) are a dime a dozen! It’s always a challenge, finding an impactful massage therapist. Not only are they receptive to what you share as it pertains to what hurts etc. But, they also “read” and listen to your body as you undergo your session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
