My home away from home! Being a salon owner I am all about self care and I can’t say enough amazing things about this wellness retreat! I’ve had every service here from a facial to a massage and even acupuncture and chiropractic work!
I had such an amazing massage today with Cynthia! She has a fantastic personality to relax you and her skills are amazing. I’ve had massages all over the country and she stands out to me as professional and knows exactly how to tackle the issues your having. Highly recommend!! The wellness spa is clean and very modern.
Today was my first visit at D’Arcy wellness and I met with Dr. Kate Masterson. I did not know what to expect going in but my sister in law told me I had to go see her. From the moment Dr. Kate Masterson greeted me I immediately loved her energy. She is very professional and kind.
Going to get a massage from Cynthia is my treat! She is the ultimate professional and has magic hands. Cynthia's calm and friendly demeanor sets the mood for a wonderful massage every time. I appreciate that when our session starts, all I hear is the beautiful background music she plays.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
