I’ve been seeing Shohreh for a number of years for sciatica, back and other arthritis issues pertaining to aging. She has given my life back to me from not having to walk with a cane and being able to function on a daily basis like a normal person. Her skill set is point on and I trust her implicitly.

★★★★★ — Catherine, May 2023

Dr. Doustani is the best medicine practitioner I’ve experienced. She is incredibly empathetic, will fully listen to you, provides meaningful and impactful recommendations and treatments as it relates to physical and mental health.

★★★★★ — Noelle, Sep 2025

Shohreh is a gifted healer. I'd been struggling with an injury & pain for 3 years total. But most recently, 6 months very acutely. I'd been to 4-5 different doctors in those 6 months, probably 10-15 doctors in the last 3 years. Both Easter & Western Medicine. Shohreh healed me within a month or two.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
