From the reviews

As other reviews have stated before & the literal reason I sought after Dr. Legaspi despite my own scheduling conflicts to get an appointment with this amazing doctor. I knew whatever was wrong with me, most doctors would not understand or take the time to actually hear me.

★★★★★ — Lee, Aug 2021

I came to Dr. Legaspi at a pretty critical time when life events left me physically and emotionally drained. I’ll be honest and say that I don’t really trust many doctors, mostly because they’re so busy and overworked that their main goal is to get you out the door, rather than provide the proper care and diagnosis.

★★★★★ — Marie, Nov 2021

I’ve been dealing with an elbow ligament injury for about four weeks, and honestly, the process to see spealized doctors from kaiser is complicated and i am not able to see the orthepedic until two weeks from now and so I reached out to Dr. Emmendo Legaspi for an assessment.

★★★★★ — Serena, Sep 2024

Dr.Legaspi is a wonderful doctor. I was looking for relief on upper back, neck and arm pain and he was very attentive when I was explaining my symptoms. He has a gentle, kind approach and wants to take the time to understand your issues before addressing them.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
