I’ve been getting treatment from Danling for almost a year. Her office is very clean and comfortable. Danling spends a lot of time with each patient to get to know them and help them feel better. Her treatments are thorough and she will use methods such as moxibustion, cupping and gua sha depending on your situation.
I went to Dr. Zhang for infertility treatments a couple of months before the pandemic hit. I only saw her for 3 sessions until the lockdown. Fortunately, I got pregnant two cycles after my last appointment (I've been trying to conceive for 1+ year).
re: Fertility Acupuncture After three year of trying to conceive and two failed IUIs with an Unexplained Infertility diagnosis, my husband and I had pretty much lost hope so I started googling alternatives. I read about the benefits of Acupuncture and decided to try, despite my massive fear of needles.
Dr. Danling is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. She helped me greatly with arthritis in my knees and low back sprain. Long time ago, I had serious sprain in low back several times when I lifted up some really heavy stuff when I was young.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
