From the reviews

This is my first experience with acupuncture and TCM, and thanks to Dr. Zheng I’m now a convert. I came to her with a list of peri-menopause symptoms including anxiety, hot flashes, sleeplessness, mood swings, low energy and weight gain.

My mother is suffering from chronic pain in lower abdominal for 3 months. She stayed in hospital for the past 3 months. She did all the possible examinations and tests , but came out with no conclusion of why there is a pain. She lost 30 pounds within this period of time.

I saw dr Portia a couple days in a raw for moxa treatment as my baby was breech. After doing it for two times, I went to check and the ultrasound confirmed that my baby flipped and her head was down. she's very skilled and makes her patient feels comfortable.

★★★★★ — Amjad, Sep 2019

Dr. Portia has extraordinary ability in treating patients. She cured many health issues however i have not seen her due to my moms age. If u need a doctor who can deal with complex issues she can help. She is very good doctor.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
