In five weeks of treatment I have seen significant improvement in my menstrual health and perimenopausal symptoms. Dana uses a combination of radio frequency massage and acupuncture to deliver results that I have been unable to obtain through other methods of care. She also offers cupping therapy.
Update: 7/10/2026 i was having a lot of pain in my upper side of my neck and head. Dr. Dana and Jay gave me advice on my pillow which was great. I had the best treatment today and I feel 95% better than how I felt on July 2nd which is when my pain started.
I had pretty severe back pain in my mid to upper back on the left side. Went here to get it treated with cupping therapy and accupunture. After few sessions already felt significantly better. So in total, I'd say the treatment was very worth.
Great experience at Dana HanBang. She was able to see me on short notice to address a flare up of old neck and back issues. The multi-faceted approach to addressing pain was fantastic -- Indiba, cupping and acupuncture. I really appreciated the thoroughness of the session and felt so much better after.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
