From the reviews
A place with very good energy, where you feel safe and calm. It is my first massage and I was very happy with the results, when I left there I felt like I was flying, and I was very happy with the experience.
Dan is a very good masseuse. I think one of the things that I like the most about how Dan goes about his massage is that he is very attentive to your needs and very knowledgeable about the human body.
Dan is an excellent massage therapist. What I like most about him is his curiosity. He consistently takes classes to learn new things. He also listens well and understands what techniques to use to help with pain points.
Dan is a skillful intuitive compassionate massage therapist as well as being a good listener. I have a lot of awareness about my needs that go beyond just comfort and preference. For me, they are a matter of safety due to significant PTS (post traumatic stress).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
