From the reviews

Dr. Martin, has always been about the patient, he takes the extra time know matter what to try and find out what is wrong. I have been a long time patient of his and recommend him highly. He is always truthful and trying to help. thank you for all you do

★★★★★ — Terry, Jan 2017

He is so good. I go for pain relief and it's working. I have been in pain for years and on pills THAT never worked. Now Dr. Dan has given me days free of pain. He makes you feel at ease and such a great time. I know now that there are ways other than pills. The veteran clinic sent me there and HE made it a pleasure.

★★★★★ — Samantha, Oct 2018

As an RN working at a local hospital I'm familiar with the Texarkana medical community. When I needed a personal physician, Dr. Martin was my first & only choice. The medical community appreciates his prowess. Take advantage of his remarkable expertise & knowledge, and begin your return to wellness with Dr. Martin.

I love him. Went to see him for my headache and his magic little pins help get rid of them and the rolling bed they have you lay on before hand is awesome

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
