From the reviews
I always have the absolute best experience every time I walk through the doors of Crossroads Physical Therapy & Wellness. From the warm, welcoming energy to the incredible knowledge and expertise of the staff, this place is truly special.
Crossroads is by far the best physical therapy I have been to! They have helped me become stronger with injuries to my shoulder that I never thought would heal. They are incredibly knowledgeable and their individualized plans for every patient clearly have a lot of thought put into them.
Crossroads PT and Wellness is a one of a kind business. They care about their patients’ well-being inside and outside of the clinic. Ashley is knowledgeable, friendly, and pushes you to go beyond anything you could have ever expected out of your PT sessions.
Ashley and Joe are simply amazing. I showed up to Crossroads discouraged due to losing strength and mobility in my left arm/shoulder. I was having pain and was unable to lift my arm above my shoulder for months.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
