From the reviews
Nikelle is extremely adept at understanding the various connective tissues and intramuscular synergies and creates an experience for you that looks to relieve the root causes and not the symptoms.
Top Notch Massage Therapy and Wellness! Nikelle is an amazing therapist, very knowledgeable and great hands on skills. Her table and Thai massage are both fantastic!
Kat performed my deep tissue massage today and it was the best I have ever had! I have been struggling with my legs the last several years and I noticed in her bio on their website that she works with connective tissue issues. I had her focus on my legs of which haven’t felt so good in years.
I’ve been going to Crescent Moon for a few years. I have chronic low back issues I have seen both Nikelle and Jo they are both amazing. The space is quaint and very relaxing . Jo has worked with me numerous amounts of times helping figure out my lower back pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
