The Tamiami, FL location is very well organized and very clean. The staff is excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. In particular, Jorge and Gigi did a great job with my daughter’s therapy and scheduling her appointments. They really made her feel at ease, and helped her to heal.
This was another great experience at CORA for me, as I have had rehab at this location about ten times for various injuries and surgeries. This time I was fortunate enough to have Stefanie as my therapist.
Everything from the desk people, the scheduled appointment reminders, to the equipment cleanliness was top notch. Special shout out to PTA, Fred Georgi for his expert training assistance. Always aware of how I was doing. He had a keen sense of what I needed to do to push myself, next.
They are very caring from the front desk on back. I have made so much progress after my knee surgery. Jo and Fred are the best. They are always smiling, laughing and Fred plays the best music. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
